WHAT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT

Title : include a title that will be compelling and get people interested in attending your session.

Abstract : provide a concise description that gives the audience a clear understanding of what they can expect to learn or gain by attending your talk.

Author Contact Information : if your abstract has co-authors, their information will need to be included as well. 

Preferred Presentation Type : selected abstracts will be assigned either an oral or poster presentation type. Preferred presentation types will be considered when finalizing the scientific schedule.

Special Interest Group Alignment : EMGS hosts seven Special Interest Groups (SIGs), each focused on a specific area of research. When submitting an abstract, authors are asked to select the SIG that best aligns with the subject matter of their work. 

 

KEY FACTS

• When you submit an abstract, the submitting author does not have to be the presenting author however, email communication will be sent to only the submitting author. 
  
• Submitting an abstract does not register you for the meeting. That is a separate process.
• Outstanding abstracts submitted during the regular submission period will be considered for an oral presentation in either a symposium or platform session.
• Late-Breaking abstract submissions are only considered for poster presentations.
• Abstracts revisions can be made through you Oxford Abstracts dashboard. Abstract revision deadline is July 1st, 2025.
• If you need to withdraw your abstract, you must formally email EMGS HQ at emgshq@emgs-us.org.
