Call for 2023 Award Nominations!

Nominations Due: December 10th

The EMGS offers any member of the scientific community the opportunity to nominate deserving individuals for awards that are presented at the EMGS Annual Meeting. Nominations of members from historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged.

EMGS Award

This award recognizes outstanding research contributions in the area of environmental mutagenesis. Nominations should include a cover letter that succinctly states why this candidate is deserving of this award as well as at least one letter of support (three maximum). In addition, the nomination should include the candidate's CV.

Alexander Hollaender Award

This award recognizes outstanding contributions in the application of the principles and techniques of environmental mutagenesis to the protection of human health. Nominations should include a cover letter that succinctly states why this candidate is deserving of this award, as well as at least one letter of support (three maximum). In addition, the nomination should also include the candidate's CV.

EMGS Service Award

This prestigious award is conferred from time-to-time in recognition of long-standing dedication and service to the Society. Nominations should include a cover letter that succinctly states why this candidate is deserving of this award, as well as up to two additional letters of support.

EMGS Education Award

This is a special opportunity for Students, New Investigators and EMGS members to nominate an EMGS member for outstanding contributions to student education and mentorship to receive an award during the EMGS Annual Meeting. Nominations need to include a cover letter that succinctly states why this candidate is deserving of the award. A supporting letter by a student, new investigator or collaborator is required (supporting nominators do not need to be an EMGS member).
