Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) was founded in 1969 with a vision of a word where science drives sound decisions to protect people's health from environmental hazards, and a mission of understanding and mitigating the impacts of environmental exposures on the genome to protect human health through diverse and inclusive leadership in research, professional development, and collaboration. | As the flagship journal of EMGS, Environmental and Molecular Mutagenesis (EMM) publishes original research articles on environmental mutagenesis. It will publish manuscripts in the six general areas of mechanisms of mutagenesis; genomics; DNA damage; replication, recombination, and repair; public health; and DNA technology.
