The International Association of Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Societies (IAEMGS) is currently inviting expressions of interest (EoIs) for symposium titles for the upcoming ICEM 2026 meeting in Edinburgh. They are looking for 30 exciting symposia across the 5-day ICEM meeting in September 2026. They encourage submissions of EoIs from across all regional Environmental Mutagen societies. The process for selection of symposia for ICEM 2026 will be open and transparent and is as follows:
EoIs sent out to all regional Environmental Mutagen societies in December 2024.
The deadline for return of EoIs will be 14th February 2025.
The symposium titles will be initially assessed by the organising committee of ICEM 2026.
The EoIs will be forwarded to the programme committee on a topic by topic basis (made up of experts in each of the 15 topic area – see below).
The programme committee will inform the organising committee of the suitability and relevance of each EoI and produce a recommendation for inclusion as symposia in ICEM 2026.
The organising committee will inform each applicant of the outcome of the EoI in a timely manner.
In some cases, a merger of 2 or more EoIs may be suggested by the programme committee.
The final list of session titles will be decided by April 2025.
