2025 Sam Wilson Award: Extended Application Deadline

EXTENDED DEADLINE: MAY 31, 2025

The Samuel H. Wilson Award for Studies on DNA Repair was created in honor of Samuel H. Wilson to provide career advancement opportunities for the next generation of environmental health scientists: Sam Wilson Award (emgs-us.org).

The awardee will be invited to give an oral presentation in a Symposium or Platform session during the 2025 EMGS Annual Meeting and will be awarded a $500 travel stipend, two nights hotel and registration for the meeting.

Application Materials:

• Abstract (250 words max) This must be submitted to both the annual meeting abstract collection form and the Sam Wilson Award Application.
• List of up to 10 published papers as corresponding author
• A statement written by the applicant (500 characters, including spaces) describing their teaching experience.
• A statement written by the applicant (500 characters, including spaces) describing their mentorship experience.
