Mission Statement

The Newsletter Subcommittee is focused on bringing news and information to the members of EMGS 6 times a year in an online newsletter format. The newsletter issues will include a highlight of the venue, speakers, and general agenda of the upcoming EMGS Annual Meeting in the Spring, as well as a highlight article of EMGS members and other news of interest to members. The Newsletter Subcommittee happily receives nominations and suggestions for content

Search for the name of the group using the Find A Group search bar and click Request Invite.

Subcommittee Charge

• Produces 6 issues of the Newsletter yearly. The Newsletter contains information about EMGS activities (the Annual Meeting, Workshops and Online Webinars, special lectures etc.), Members’ Biographical Profiles, Members’ Research Highlights, links to various Committee and SIG activities, research abstracts from EMGS Keynote speakers and Award winners, and obituaries. 
• The Newsletter is sent to all the EMAIL addresses that EMGS has on file, which include members (current and past), meeting attendees, 17 sister societies that are members of ICEM, and 35 societies with goals compatible to those of the EMGS.
